The Immigration Department of Saskatchewan announced a temporary immigration policy for international students in the province.

In order to support international students living in the province on September 1, 2020, and affected by the pandemic, those who have completed an academic program in any of Saskatchewan's DLIs can directly submit a nomination application starting on March 22, 2021, even if they have not found a job.

The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) has allocated 1,000 spots for the temporary measure.

As of March 24, 2021, Saskatchewan has 993 spots remaining through this temporary measure.

SINP will update the numbers of remaining applications every Monday.
