On January 7, 2021, Saskatchewan held the first draw in the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) in 2021. SINP issued invitations to apply (ITA) for the provincial nomination to 385 candidates. In the Express Entry category, Saskatchewan issued 148 ITAs. Another 237 invitations have been sent to the Occupations In-Demand category candidates. The lowest score in both categories did not change from the last draw in 2020 - 71 points. All invited candidates had Educational Credential Assessments. In this draw, the Saskatchewan government invited candidates in 79 different NOCs. Last year, Saskatchewan issued ITAs to 8,395 candidates.
