Ontario invited new candidates in the Entrepreneur Stream

On April 22, 2020, Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP) issued 26 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to the eligible candidates under the Entrepreneur Stream. The required score for this round was between 132 and 200. The OINP noted that those whose Expressions of Interest were received between November 22, 2019, and April 17, 2020, were eligible for consideration for this ITA Round.

Applicants who received a notice that their EOI was eligible to receive an ITA but did not receive an ITA this round, the EOI scored below 132. An EOI remains eligible to receive an ITA for 12 months from the date it was submitted to the OINP 

The minimum equity/personal investments fund required for this progarm are:

• If your proposed business will be located within the Greater Toronto Area, the minimum personal investment should be $600,000 CDN and control at least one-third of the equity in the business
• If your proposed business will be located outside of the Greater Toronto Area, the minimum personal investment should be $200,000 CDN, and you should control at least one-third of the equity in the business
