Nova Scotia has updated the provincial employers' list to participate in the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP). In November 2020, Nova Scotia added 23 new employers. Since the last update, the total number of its designated employers reached is 1,354 companies. As for New Brunswick, the province designated nine new employers in November and removed five. As of today, 839 New Brunswick employers can hire foreign workers in the framework of the AIPP. In total, 2,806 employers in all four Atlantic provinces can hire foreign workers in the Atlantic Immigration Pilot.

On February 29, 2020, the list of Nova Scotia employers taking part in the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP) was updated. The list included 1,176 employers that have been designated by the provincial government to participate in the AIPP. S. In total, in February 2020, there were 2,469 employers in all four Atlantic provinces who can hire foreign workers in the framework of AIPP. In 2019, Canada welcomed 4,145 immigrants in the AIPP.
