Ontario remained the most popular destination for Express Entry immigrants in 2020. It attracted 37,525 immigrants or 58.7% of the total admissions. British Columbia took second place. It welcomed 13,590 newcomers or 21.3%. The third main beneficiary of Express Entry is Alberta, which became a choice of 7,005 immigrants or 11%.

Historically, since the start of Express Entry, Ontario, BC, and Alberta are the top priority destinations for Express Entry immigrants. These three provinces combined welcomed 89.2% of the total number of 374,395 immigrants.
